II.   Learn following dialogues and phrases.

1)    Theft

-          Amar Street Police Station… How can I help you?

-          Yes - it’s 9, Chingis Avenue and my telephone number is 98896768.

-          And your name please?

-          Bat.

-          Thank you Mr Bat. There’s a police car on the way now. Please don’t touch anything until we get there. We will need to collect evidence.

-          Ok.

-          /knocking the door/. This is the police. Open the door, please.

-          What time did this happen?

-          Around 01:00AM.

-          Who was at your home when the burglary occurred?

-          Nobody was here. They broke in through the back door.

-          What was stolen from you?

-          They stole our jewelries from the bedroom and the TV and video from living-room. They also took the money that I had in the kitchen.

-          Here is a copy of the report form. We will try our best to catch the burglary.

2)    Interviewing Victims of Assault.

-          Are you injured?

-          I’ve got a terrible headache.

-          Can you identify the suspect?

3)    Assisting the Victims.

-          We need to ask you a few questions.

-          There was an argument.
